New Year

I made it to the new year!
Had to work till 11 and drove like a bat out o hell to a friends, but I got to see the ball drop and Mexicans light off mortars!

Everyone I know is sick...so I am hiding.
But I have more hours at work, so I feel better.

Resolutions:
1) Make more money this year, spend on travel
2) Get a reliable vehicle, no more fords!
3) Practice more, instead of not at all
4) Get my own place, still debating location
5) Actually scan deviations...lol

and in a few days I can have moochi!

I was watching this Japanese movie last night. YoYo Cop Girl. It's about a girl. and she's a cop. with a yoyo.

ANYWAY. Her supervisor type guy. She goes to his apartment to talk about the case. It's a sty so she asks "don't you have a wife or a girlfriend or anything?" to which he replies, "yea. She's hiding over there." and points out the window. He goes outside, she looks out the window. He picks up a chicken.

"This is Akemi. Nice to meet you."

The next scene is them on the floor at the table eating while Akemi sits next to the table with a lil plate of feed.

It was my understanding that Pyrates either consume trouble as a form of breakfast cereal, or spread it wildly about like a plague. Either way it is intrinsic to Pyratical nature to be in direct contact with trouble.
